Ms. Kelly has more than 20 years of experience in the defense of civil cases, and has tried approximately 25 jury trials, lasting from two days to three months, including medical and other professional malpractice matters. She also has participated in at least 70 mediations and arbitrations, either as the mediator/arbitrator or representing parties to those proceedings. Her caseload focuses primarily on the defense of medical malpractice and civil rights issues.
She also has worked within judicial reform and anti-corruption measures as a senior rule of law advisor and project evaluator for the U.S. Agency for International Development, and consulted for the World Bank on judicial reform issues.
